Can banana plugs be used on the output side?
Yes. The output terminals are designed to accept pins, bare wire, fork terminals, and banana plugs.
Does the unit have a current limiting feature? That is, to hold the current output to 500 mA or 1 A.
Yesit has a CC Constant current mode. i think it was per 100mA and up to 10Amps fully adjustable

Well... have not had the time to test it yet, but so far it does not inspire too much confidence. Tho the packet was perfectly unharmed with no marks of abuse in transit, then When i unpacked the unit it sound like something was scrambling around inside and when i turned it around a few times some wire pieces and some broken plastic fell out of the cooling ribs of the enclosure. I do hope that nothing is damaged and the power supply does not blow up in my face when i turn it on and use it... Time will tell tho... It looks good, tho is is quite wobbly due to only resting on 3 of the 4 rubber feet in the bottom due to a crooked chassy which leaves about 2-3mm of air under 1 of the rubber feet... when i determine if the unit is functioning 100% as intended, then i might try and fix the wobbly chassy my self, but only if the power supply does work 100% as intended. Oh I can't wait to test it out to see if it will make fireworks and let the magic smoke out, or if it is actualy better than the first impressions. Wish me luck, i'm going in! ;-)

Arrived on time. Packaging intact. Tested for 2h30m at the counter. Everything ok. A good functional product, small and pleasing to the eye. The photos explain how the device was received and tested. I would like to point out that the ripple visible to the oscilloscope is 40mVPP with a resistive load of 0.34A at a voltage of 21.7V in Constant Current mode. A good purchase at a more than reasonable price and fast delivery. Thanks,

Product received today. Shipping very fast. Everything perfect, without any damage and well packed. A really fantastic fountain, of solid construction. Small and versatile, it fits in any corner of the lab. Short of testing it in more depth, for the moment I am really satisfied. Highly recommended salesman.

this goods came from a Czech warehouse and at a lower price than from China - super Plusy - compact shape - is smaller than I thought. excellent functionality - current, voltage and power can be adjusted. universal use - source, experiments in the laboratory. I am very satisfied with the purchase minuses - for this price none at this time This coming came from a Czech Republic and for a price than from China - great the pros - the whole thing - is less than I thought. Excellent integrity - complete, combined and power can be set. Use - source, experiments in the environment. I am very happy with the pleasure Cons - No price at this time

delivery took a while,Power supply circuit board was loose inside,had to fixed it myself,so not very impressed. power supply is in working condition.

Very good power supply. It can handle high currents with no problem, it does not get hot. On the inside it is well built, with a large heatsink. The circuit is based on the well known TL494 controller. Front panel indicators are quite precise and if there's a problem they can be calibrated (there are two preset resistors on the PCB). The switching transistors and the output rectifier are isolated and placed on the same heatsink. Between them is a diode in thermal contact with the heatsink. This is probably used as temperature sensor for the cooling fan. So far I wasn't able to get it hot enough to turn on the fan. Overall this is a good design at an affordable price.

took a while to deliver, but it was worth it. it is a serious power supply with all it takes. in case you need adjustment of the voltage, there are trimmers on the display pcb. see photo. after adjustment it's 100% accurate
