nope, you have to put on the waterproof cover.

A beautiful, handy piece. In comparison to my FT03 with SFT40, the hotspot is slightly smaller and, based on my assessment, approximately 10–15% brighter. This, due to the logarithmic nature of our vision, means a somewhat higher lux level. (We perceive e.g. 2000 lux much less than double the brightness of 1000 lux.) __The tailcap has a single spring but its much thicker than those in other types. __I have tested the included battery using the LiitoKala M4S charger and tester. The batterys capacity was measured at 5,290mAh when discharged from 4.19V to 3.20V with 500mA, the maximum discharge current of the LiitoKala. The capacity will be slightly smaller when discharged with several amperes. This means that the battery is well up to specs. __

This flashlight is very good. In comparison with older FT03 significant difference. I love it. The best thrower, which I have.

It arrived in Budapest intact and well packaged in 19 days. The battery capacity matches the description. The lamp is about 10-15% brighter than the previous version (FT03).

Mega price performance! __It's just fun to shine with it. __Thanks to Astrolux :) _____Positive: - Very good range _ - Power bank function _ - Side switch _ - Battery included _ - Mechanical lockout ___Negative: __- Lamp blinks when turned on mechanically 2 times __- Side switch only lights up briefly __- I couldn't find moonlight mode, or the low mode is way too bright. (I need to read the manual again) __- Housing/glass or reflector makes noise, cracking a bit with my lamp. __- Ramping doesn't feel professional, it is a bit choppy, but it does what it should. _One should refer to Anduril for that. __- UI could overall be better, please don't add anything pointless, like this blinking when turning on, _otherwise one blinds their children with it. ___Best regards from DE and thanks for this great lamp. _

PROS: _incredible far throw for this size of flashlight, far over 1000m. _Flawless deep reflector_nice anodizing of flashlight body_switch button perfectly fits to thumb = easy to find_exact battery check_charging to 4,20V_works during charging, even without battery_nice green/blue

Cossack flashlight, smaller, lighter, and much cheaper than Ft03s with the same range. For me, a revelation. I recommend it 100 percent.

This FT03-Pro is a significant upgrade to my FT03, with a clearly more powerful and more define hotspot. I couldn't put a hard number on it, but my guess is between 25% and 33% brighter. You will definitely need a 26650 hi-drain unprotected battery that can deliver a steady 15A. A protected battery or a 10A battery will not work - so if you need a battery get the Astrolux battery option its the cheapest way to get good ones.
