how can it be changed to mode 1
Buy it and read the manual or read through the RCGroups forums thread on this plane.
Can I bind this model to my Radiomaster TX 16 (multiprotocol) ?
Not currently! They've changed the protocol from the 1 used on the XK A280. The satellite sockets don't work on this board either but you can just drop in a board from the A280. Seems to work quite well.
Can the transmitter be switched to mode 1?
Yep. That XK transmitter can be switched to ANY of the 4 different stick modes.
