where to download software for uti690a?

by Dennis, on 01 December 2021

The uploaded software does not work. However the software for the UTi120B works great, you can find the software om Uni-T's website.

I’m impressed with everything about this product. Quality, ease of use, precision, how it fits the hand, how the design is safe for sensor, LED, laser, and LCD.

This camera is amazing. At this price point i believe is the one with the highest ir resolution (dont confuse it with the screen resolution). Image comes at about 10 constant fps. They only downside is the lack of a normal camera, so there is not anything like combination mode, you only see a clear thermal image. It includes a micro sd and a charging cable. The packaging feels amazing. If you dont wanna spend a fortune in UTI690B, then I recommend this one for sure!

It has arrived today, 6 months after the date of purchase, I know that it has not been a problem of the seller, so I give it 5 stars, but 6 months is a long time. Who gives me 5 stars for my patience

Great device for the price, but it is more expensive than the UTi120S, after review both devices, seems to be the same. The menu system is responsive. Lacks the visible light camera that have more expensive devices, then you cannot mix normal images with thermal images. It is very easy to use and can be an excellent entry device and a replacement device for carry up when you can worry of carry a more expensive device.

The build quality seem very decent for the price. At the top is a rubber cover that protects the USB-C port and SD-card slot. The UTi690A does not have a normal camera so you're completely dependent on the thermal image shown on the display. It does however have both a tiny flashlight and a laser pointer that help in low light situations and if you're completely unsure where you're pointing it at. The menu system feels very responsive and even if the unit have less buttons than most thermal imagers, it's very easy and quick to nagive through the settings. When it comes to what information can be displayed on the screen, the following options are available: Center Point measurement, Hi/Lo Point measurement, Palette, Date&Time. This is quite limited for some use, but for the price point it seem common with these options, and have the feeling that more advanced options may be too much for the processor to handle. For the use I purchased it for, to troubleshoot 3D-Printers it seem to work great. You can easilly see single wires when they heat up as current pass through them, and the measurement at the center point gives the same readings as my FLIR E30bx does. The work range does seem to be quite accurate, you seem to gain additional detail in the images down to a distance of ~10cm from the sensor. I checked if possible to identify PCB-components and did so quite easily down to a size of ~3mm, smaller components than that and you would need an additional ZnSe lens or similar. Overall, happy with the thermal imager for the price paid, it seems to read measurements accurately as my expensive Flir E30bx unit, resolution is just lower. For checking on 3D-printers and other objects of similar size it seems to work great.
