Most of these kit type TEF curiosity radios perform well, I'm judging by build quality and internal noise. The display seems well shielded, so I didn't feel the need to take it apart to remedy that. The build otherwise seems sturdy with nice clicky buttons. I have a couple of other similar TEF radios, and the number keys are a welcome addition for direct frequency entry. **The button layout wasn't well thought out.** I'm still giving it 5 stars, as some of these look and feel like a five year old slapped it together, it's not the case with this build. I have this hooked into my PCs audio system (Yamaha) and music from FM sounds great without any annoying noise. Hooked permanently to an outdoor antenna, MW and SW performance is very good as well. I bought this to listen to ALL bands and while it's not what you'd call a communications receiver it's fine for casual listening.

I am a short radio enthusiast and I've owned over 100 radios in my lifetime. This is one of the nice ones. __The controls have a good feel and the buttons work reliably. The display is bright and easy to read indoors, although a bit of a challenge outdoors in the sun. The user interface is extremely well thought out. The speaker is exceptionally good. I found it quite sensitive on shortwave with the ample included telescopic antenna. As would be expected with the TEF 6686 chip, FM reception was very good.__There is a bit of internal noise on MW and the donut antenna isn't useful on that band -- the telescopic is better and someone interested in that kind of listening might do well to consider a specialty antenna. The big negative is that no manual is included. Find something on the Internet.

Build quality is decent and good, Really appreciate the idea of turning PCB into functional case instead of 3d print case. __The sound quality is exceptionally great, and the battery also good 5000mah, __Touch works well and good, Telescopic antenna quality needs bit improvement its wobbly at the tip. __Over all its a well serving product.

Well packed and fast delivery. Antenna socket needed to be tightened. Headphone socket was damaged when first used, could be fixed DIY. Extremely good receiver!
