Is there a difference between this iMAX and the SkyRC iMAX....which one is better?
This one is a knock-off copy and any claims about its performance are unreliable to say the least.

seems ok. arrived in good condition. it only has one T type charging cable, so if you have other connector type you should order the according plug type. I don't really know what those other cables do, but you have quite a few in the box. the tracking status is not updated on the app, but I received every package until now

Delivered on time, full description. The installation coincides with the declared output of the DC 15V 6A power supply, in the kit printed manual in English with a clear flowchart menu. Built on the MCU ATMEL Atmega32 (checked personally, photos of the internal charging world enclosed), the ICSP connector wiring is similar to the original from SkyRC (GND on pin 5). Information exchange with PCs is enabled by default (USB/Temp is selected in the USB/Temp selection menu). In fact, the USB port is missing, instead on the connector of the temperature sensor is output pin TX UART, on which when working the charger sends some data at 9600 baud (looked logical analyzer). The data composition has not yet been sorted out and has not connected to LogView. Works perfectly, the alternative firmware (cheali-charger) has not yet downloaded: I am not sure that I need it. Very pleased with the acquisition.

As far as I could research this product, it's very complete, the manual is in English, it brings charger, with plug for your geographical area, I don't know if I picked something wrong or it doesn't bring cable to charge xt60 connector, I recommend a temperature sensor cable, to better care for the charge and avoid an overheating of the battery.

I received the package in flawless condition and quickly. The charger looks good, at least passed the first tests, I charged a 2 and 3 cell LiPo battery to storage voltage. During charging, the device is warmed up around the connectors. It is recommended.

11.11 I purchased with a tourkey direct mail option from the discount I received a UK voucher as it was lower price so I was given a European voucher converter as a gift and I was happy with it.In 13 days I received the order via intermission.The screen after charging for 1 hour on my first try The screen went away when I touched it, but I didn't have any trouble after that. It's working very well. It's charging my batteries full performance. No fan in it. It's heating up for long periods of time, although it's not excessive, I use it from the outside. I think it'd be a lot better if you had a fan in it. The temperature sensor didn't come out of it, but I didn't see the temperature settings, so it might not be a temperature sensor. I posted a video on YouTube, and you can watch it from there. Imax is looking for a battery charge, and that's basically the device.

Great little charger - however you cannot charge HV Lipos with it! This charger does not come with xt30 or xt60 charging cables! I had to mod one of the cables to charge my 2s lipos! (can see from pics it’s not the most professional soldering job 😁) overall great price for what it is and excellent quality!
