Both metric and imperial units have a resolution of 0.25, so 0.01×25.4 is also 0.254.
Are the ruler graduations laser etched into the steel or just painted on? Also, To what standard tolerance of accuracy has this ruler been manufactured (I.e. British standard is 0.1mm over 300mm)
