your pictures shows only 1 knob on either side, but the test of Denis from hooked on wood shows the silver knobs on both sides...what is correct?
The product we offer has one black and the other silver knob, and this one only needs one knob to adjust the clamp module width.

Excellent Quality and Precision – Highly Recommended__I was very surprised by the high build quality of the Hongdui HD29. All parts are made of solid metal, and the machining is very precise. The clamping mechanism holds knives tightly and without damaging the blade.__Angle adjustment is easy and accurate, and the flip mechanism works smoothly, allowing you to sharpen both sides quickly. With a bit of practice, I was able to get extremely sharp results, much better than with handheld sharpening.__This system is perfect for kitchen knives, pocket knives, or any other blade you want to keep in top condition. For the price, it’s an excellent value – performs just like much more expensive systems.__Very satisfied – I would definitely buy it again!

These honing guides are excellent, dont be misinformed when you read Ratings from people who dont know how to use them properly, make sure the roller turns freely and keep them lubricated.

I have an issue with the guide wheel. after not more than ten minutes of use it has worn a flat spot in the wheel. a friend and I are sharpening together using two of the same hongdui guide no problem

Superb sharpening template. Contained in a box worthy of a luxury watch, the finish of the components is exemplary and the template works very well. I sharpened a 12 mm wood chisel with it and the result is markedly better than what I was achieving with my Veritas template.

Quality of the guide seems to be exceptional - I also have a Veritas guide and this one seems to be much more capable, easier to use and of equal quality.__The only odd thing is, as shown in the picture the locking knobs on the clamp dont match. One of the knobs is a standard black knurled finish and the other one is a machined diamond pattern is what looks like bright stainless steel.

Wow! The quality of this kit is amazing, Hongdui have done a fantastic design and manufacture job to bring a superb product to market. It works perfectly well tool, holding chisel and planer blades and irons in a very solid manner. Absolutely outstanding at any price, but at this price incredible. Can’t wait for the next Hongdui product.

A real treat - very precise! _Notice the eccentric wheel with its actually 4 (!) different positions for micro bevels up to approximately 1.5° (relative to the set angle of 25°) !!_I dont have the means to accurately measure the angles, but notice the difference of the gap between blade and wheel with the indicating arrow pointing forward (here left) or away from the blade (here right)_Long extensions a bit sharp on the edges...

I continue to be impressed by the quality of Hongdui tools, and this is no exception. Pleasantly surprised to discover that both the small and large jaws are made of steel. The only complaint I have is that the additional knob is mismatched and is just a plain black knob rather than the shiny one shown in all of the reviews (see arrow in photo).
