What is the version of hackrf? does it have a built-in speaker? Can you update to ver mayhem v1.90?
Yes, it has a built in speaker. (and battery). I updated mine to Mayhem v1.9.1 (latest release) and it works a treat. Much better than the 1.7.4 it came with. I managed to brick the HackRF board temporarily using nightly builds. It's virtually impossible to brick permanently but does require disassembling to recover. Stick to the release builds of Mayhem.

Succesfully update the latest fw, but please aware : no microphone installed the portapack board. Microphone bias resistor also missing.

it works great. everrything functions as it should. the case it comes in is the only thing that i have any issues with. its not exactly perfectly lined up with the lights, and the part that the card slot is in isnt the right shape. its bigger than it needs to be. but it works perfectly so its all good and im totally happy.
