does the router plate remove and stay with router to use as a hand held router? (drop in) like the extended oblong plate that’s sold separately?
Yes, the same plate you can buy separately as Trimming router baxse.
It would be ideal if there was a version of this where the Enjoyeood mini router lift could be dropped in.
I agree. Maybe Enjoywood can mill up an adaptor plate for their mini router table.

I wanted to build my own, but why when you can have better for a fraction of the price. Greatly made tool. Attention should be paid to the thickness of the guide panels. They are minimally thicker than the t-track placed above, which causes a minimal deviation from vertical, e.g., of the mounted roller clamps.

This is great for site work or fine woodworking. And the standard track allows me to use my box joint jig fence (banggood product). Overall I highly recommend this unique high quality tool for many years of use.

The shipment arrived on time and in order within 2 days, everything functional, simple operation; I would only add a ruler from the milling cutter to the back for easier adjustment of the distance of the support plate; otherwise, I am satisfied. It is the smallest workbench I have seen equipped like this.
