can I use this to make dog holes in my workbench?

Can the extension-rod-index-pin device be positioned so the red plate is touching the edge of the jig, using the pin as an edge-stop? How are the rods secured so they do not slide?
The position rail pin plate has 2 set screws that are used to hold the pin plate in place on the rods. Additionally, the 3 drill hole position plates each have two tiny set screws (just off center) that can be tightened to hold the position rail rods in place in the jig. Yes, I believe you can set it up using the configuration you described.

I must say I'm very impressed by the quality and functionality of this jig, even without taking into account its low price. As shown in the photos, it comes very well packed and protected, all the drill bits are sharp, and nothing is missing. One thing I will add to the jig is a 45-degree adapter that will allow miter doweling too (I'm thinking of a piece of wood that will be held in place by a bolt going through the 15mm Forstner bit guide hole. I still don't have a good solution for clamping tough, but I'll figure it out, maybe another 45-degree piece of wood to align the clamps), hopefully ENJOYWOOD can come up with an aluminum part that will make this super versatile jig even more versatile (I would definitely consider buying it).

Drillpro reached me within the specified delivery period. The quality is very good, with excellent fit of all parts and screws, and the device is made of aluminum cast and seems to be very stable. Boards can be connected easily, L-connections and T-connections as well as connections removable with eccentric can be made. The fit of the connections is very good and can be done by anyone. I did not find an operating instructions. The packaging is very good, everything is in foam in a small cardboard box. I found a video operating instructions on YouTube. I built an L-connection with 18 mm 3-layer carpenter's wood, very accurate. The supplied wood drills are of medium quality, I recommend using only very good wood drills. There are 6 8 10 mm drill bushes included, I would have liked 5 mm drill bushes as well. All in all, a well thought-out device that I will certainly enjoy for a long time. Unrestricted recommendation for the ambitious woodworker!

Good build and works great. All pieces were there despite some complaints that they were missing some. It can be a bit fiddly to use but nothing a bit of practice and planning in your work flow wont fix. My only real gripe is that I wish the case allowed you to store it assembled.

product arrived in 2 days after ordering!Although I am from the country where you have a warehouse, it is fantastic!I just unpacked the product and already surprised me with its quality and workshop processing!I like Mooc and I am looking forward to it, When I try it out!The product can work with three diameters of cutouts,6,8,10 and has 5 holes in the base! which I like very much,plus a pull-out holder is included,which enables faster drilling.Also the drills are very sharpened,the drill is also included, I think the product is excellent, but I don't want to praise too much, I haven't worked with it yet!

Fast on time delivery, excellent packaging and very nice looking product. Everything seems to be in the box and a few spares. There are a few small scratches/imperfections and a tiny amount of play between drills and bushings, but maybe that is intended. Very much looking forward to using this tool.
