Ive always been a bit hesitant about buying hold down clamps as I didnt want to drill holes into my workbench. I watched Denis from Hooked on Wood and decided to bite the bullet and buy these. Ive just used them for the first time today and now Im wondering how I ever lived without them. The quality is excellent. I measured the diameter with digital calibers and they both come in at 19.99mm. The clamping force is brilliant without being excessive. My workbench weighs a ton (not literally) and when I clamp a piece of timber with these I can move the workbench by pushing and pulling on the wood. I cant recommend these enough and no, Im not sponsored in any way.
