works well.once you make the connections from the two prongs it won't come out power until a small charge is plugged in, then it will work.

Well-built. Has spot-weldable pads on the battery connections. I have not tested it extensively. What I have observed: 1. My cells had been discharged to between 2.9V and 3.2V. There was no output from the 4S battery pack. I charged it at 16V/1A (constant current) overnight. The next morning the battery was charged. 3 cells measured 4.000V and one was at 3.994. Note that this is not a BMS (battery management system), but a battery protector, so that result was probably due to the condition of the cells. 2. After charging, the battery output was activated, and I was able to power my BlueTooth amplifier from it. 3. I read up on the chip specs, ABLIC S-8254AA, which explains that it protects the cells from over-charge and over-discharge by monitoring individual cell voltage. It also allows for overload (too much current draw). Under these three conditions, the battery will be disconnected (no output). My experience so far shows that cell under-voltage works. I don't know if I'll get to test over-voltage and current overload. However, by inspection, it looks like all three functionalities have been implemented (circuit for over-voltage and under-voltage is the same; sensing for current overload has been included). Recommended!
