What is the exact designation of the SSD memory?
M.2 SATA. Must be SATA. Read the other questions for additional info.
Hello, I have had a device like this for days. I wanted to install an older Samsung MZ-VLW1280 M2 SSD. But Windows 11 just finds it as unknown device and can't manage it :( It can't be initialized. How can I fix it?
OnlySATA NGFF m2s work, if it is NVM it is not read by the device, which is why it is not recognized by Windows.
The SSD interface does not work with LEXAR NM***** TB.<br/>The same LEXAR 2 TB was tested, partitioned and it is working great on ESSAGER 8 in1.<br/>There is no Customer Service page? - the link provided here does not work.
Unfortunately, the device does not work with anything! Not even on OSX or Windows. It receives power, all conditions are given, but it does not work. I asked for my money back, but it's just a delay. I've had enough! I will never order from here again and I advise everyone to do so!
Does it work with a USB adapter?

A nice product. Very useful for those who need to do some rescuing to and from hhd SSD cards. Additionally, with its side ports, it can be used as a multi-port mobile.

Every port is good but the M.2 connector doesn't support the M key SSD.

Many thanks Banggood for the replacement! Neither unit works with a USB-A to USB-C adapter (Apple MacBook Air 2014 10.13.6 OS), but that is OK as I will give to family. It took some back and forth but Banggood support did the right thing by me. Other than the fact it will not work with the adapter it is a great device. It works with my work computer and my Samsung Tablet connected with USB-C just fine. IMPORTANT NOTE: Product does not work with USB-A to USB-C adapters (I tried 2 kinds). It will not provided power to USB-A thumb drives under these circumstances. Other than that a great unit. I am awaiting a M.2 drive to install.
