Does the ATS-25 max-decoder type II come with the latest firmware installed? Version 4.2 is latest.
The current version is 4.17. If you are interested, you can refresh it yourself in the forum.
What is the antenna connection type on the back of the radio? I want to get another better antenna.
The WIFI antenna is just an SMA connector. The telescopic antenna, that is a BNC connector on it.

Very good receiver. I travel a lot and its small size makes it very convenient to take with me. Many settings and modes but if you are familiar with radio equipment you will be fine. Great sound and easy tuning.

there was a loose part inside the radio, I can hear something rattling inside the unit. also the shortwave reception is terrible, my portable shortwave radio performs much better reception.

Best price on this newest version available! works as advertised and I am really enjoying learning more about this radio. Sounds excellent and very versatile. It was worth waiting for the shipping. Really didnt take that long to get here.

Amazing seller and even more amazing little radio. I went and bought a firmware update key not knowing the current key means you get future updates. Tested on WFM radio. 40m ssb and also decoded a 20m FT8 signal from my yaesu at around 1w (2db reading on ATS-25 Max Decoder II). More than happy with this interesting radio. Still not sure what the purpose of WiFi and bluetooth is for though? Perhaps updating propagation and bands etc etc? If you could let me know I would be grateful
