i believe this light does not have memory mode so each time you turn it on, it starts at low. This is a spot light. It is not the light to take with you if you are walking and want a nice flooded beam to light your path. However, if you want to reach out and see things 200 yards away or perhaps not that far, this is a great light. and it's not expensive. you must remove the battery to charge it. very happy with this light.

These are the best value for money flashlight around and the quality of the light they put out is fantastic. The silver finish on this version looks awesome and it really made a good gift for Christmas. Used with a quality 18650 battery they are a great light and just a little lube on the threads was all that was needed to make sure they were user friendly for a long time to come.

Excellent product. Better than Convoy C8. I've got free carry pouch of Convoy C8. Quality is very good. Very bright, it is especially suitable for long range/outdoor use. It can easily throw light upto 600 meters. Recommended
