Is the 500X magnification optical? Or does it have a smaller optical magnification and reach up to 500X digitally?

Very nice mechanical quality, but also impressing image quality. Surely good match for the money! Easy and intuitive to use. Excellent way to show children all kinds of tiny creatures of our world, such as insects, parts plants, sugar chrystals etc.

The magnifying glass is good for a hobbyist. The quality is satisfactory. The Plexiglas is poorly glued and dust entered the display. I was also hoping for a camera cover.

Simple intuitive operation, very good image quality in all 4 magnification settings, one can take photos and also video recordings of the viewed objects and save them to an SD card (not included) or on the device. The lighting can be dimmed in several stages. According to the manual (also available in German), the device can also be connected directly to a PC via USB cable and controlled (I have not tried that yet). For the price, a great device - especially suitable for stamp collectors for documenting misprints.
